Yay! It's my birthday month. September is such a beautiful month -the weather is great, the temperature just perfect, skies so blue, with fall colors starting to emerge. What a wonderful month I chose to be born. Next week, I'll be celebrating with a trip to one of my power places, Sedona, AZ! I look forward to the nature, time spent with my beau, the mystic energy, and soaking up the starlight. I expect I'll return quite inspired and refreshed!
Here are the themes I've channeled for the month of September:
Increased reliance on inner guidance and self-resourcing
What's in your toolkit? How are you grounding, centering, self-soothing, regulating? Is your self-care routine getting an update? Maybe you're adding more meditation, breathing exercises, or even red light therapy to the mix. We need to take care of ourselves lovingly and build routines that support us and bring calm quickly. Meanwhile, you trust yourself more and listen to your inner compass when making decisions.
Empowerment as Embodied Courage
Expanding on the theme of courage from August, stepping through fear leads to empowerment because you embody strength. You have recalibrated your tolerance for taking a risk and it registers in your nervous system. You now feel more confident about whatever fear and resistance you've been working through. With this comes a deeper understanding of your own feelings and behaviors, a sense of compassion for yourself and others, and a sense of power with grace when you have to hold your ground. You are emboldened.
Aligned Completion
The current astrological eclipse season brings transition in a way that feels aligned and in flow. This is not like a difficult full moon that is rough and stressful. No, Virgo energy would not do that to you. Virgo will tie a pretty bow on whatever your eclipse gift is, and wrap it up nicely. Whether it’s a bad habit, a pattern that keeps repeating, a recurrent situation or relationship on the rocks, your experience of having enough is clear. Whatever you need to leave behind, you are able to do so with graceful reflection, gratitude, and acceptance. Even if it’s just dessert - there is a level of self respect that helps you know when you’re satisfied.
Progress with healing
In recent months I have mentioned care of the physical body, and old issues resurfacing for healing. You may have felt like, "oh no, not again", but because you faced it in a new way, from your evolved self, a different result has occurred. You may still be in the process of healing that throwback, but there is also progress. Example - my tendinitis from last summer has flared up again. But now, I'm doing my physical therapy more often, trying to rest, aiming to nip it in the bud before it gets worse. Meanwhile, my migraines flared up pretty badly in August, but I tweaked my treatment plan and am now experiencing a flood of relief. And don't get me started on my codependent patterns! I am rooting into a new sense of self and finding new boundaries.
